Cyber Security presented to: Douglas County – Home and Community Education Conference
The Internet provides endless possibilities to connect citizens to the world. However, the Internet also presents a number of security threats to users – novice to experienced. At the April 21st regional HCE conference, James Anderson presented on cyber security to help HCE users access the Internet while securing their personal and financial security. The curriculum presented was based on Stop-Think-Connect, which was developed by the Department of Homeland Security following a 2009 Executive Order issued by President Obama.
