STEM Imagination

Funny Gears is just one component of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education) program through 4-H in Douglas County.  Recently at the SciGirls event at the UW-Extension office students learned how to build the playground in the photos below.  These building tools increase problem solving and stimulate attention and learning.

Watch the video below and learn what you can do with Funny Gears.

The next 4-H SciGirls event will be at 6 pm on May 16 at the UW-Extension office, 1313 Belknap Street, Room 107, Superior.  Call 715-395-1363 to register.  Funny Gears will also be used at the 4-Corners and Great Lakes 4-H afterschool programs.
